Stelios Giannako poulos is really worried about

There have been so many incidents of violence during the international matches in Greece and Stelios Giannako poulos is really worried about it.

According to Giannakopoulos, if it goes on like this, his nation might be denied the opportunity of hosting too many international games in future.

The Football in Greece is actually in a pretty good shape talent wise. In World Cup which had taken place just a few months back, they had been brilliant against the top teams and if not for some lack of concentration in the penalty shootouts versus Costa Rica, they would have found themselves in the quarter finals there.

But, for a Football team to develop and to go from strength to strength, it’s important that the situation back home remains good and the players are provided peace to focus on their game, but, that is not happening currently and that’s why, after the World Cup, it has been a little bit of a dip for Greece in terms of their performances.

The players are the same and they all are good enough, but, with so much of violence in the country and it affecting the games, it has taken its toll.

Giannakopoulos wants the federation to do something about it soon and he also says he is ready to offer any kind of help that is needed.

Speaking in an interview, the playmaker who himself also represented the Greece national team said, “For a team that had qualified for the pre quarter finals in Brazil to start playing this ordinarily, it’s really surprising and it’s definitely has something to do with the current situation in the country.”

“I am sure all the former players and the fans would be immensely worried with what is happening at this point of time.”

Greece’s next home game is against Hungary this weekend.
